I will give this location a 5 if by some chance a location comes out toward me.
I haven't enjoyed shopping at this location for the 2 months I have lived here. It is my opinion that the staff are rude and inconsistent. The management needs training and the staff needs to remember the customer isn't working for them, nor is the store doing the customer the favor of being there. It's a mutual relationship about getting food/product to the home table. I am waiting on a call from the district manager now. I am now on level 3 of their management level and thus far have yet to encounter a manager that is good at resolving their issues. This review is only regarding the Maple Grove, MN location.
I love Trader Joe's because of their quality products at reasonable prices. They are kid friendly and the staff are always willing to help.
I could go on and list the reasons to shop here but, I'd sum it up by saying if you watch what you put in your body you won't see price as a deterrent, only necessary!
♿ ACCESSIBILITY: There are a few handicap accessible parking slots and a wide ramp right in front of the store with automatic sliding doors. I know there is at least one scooter here if you are in need. Unsure of the restroom situation.
With the sizable selection of organic products, this is easily the best choice for my family. It is however not the most convenient so we don't get there very often.
OVERALL the selection here for the size of the store is wonderful-abounds with a variety of Good, Clean, Nutritious food (read the labels, clear descriptions) to cook/bake yourself, ready made fresh salads, noodle dishes and more along with frozen dishes/meals, desserts & etc. Regular, International & Trader Joe's Brand selections of food. Fresh produce, salsas, guac sauce & etc. Pre-cut fruits and veggies along with fresh baked goods. Very unique selection of seasonal plants, flowers and neat cacti and succulents are right as you enter. A great place to pick up awesome Greeting Cards for Only $1.
Bring your own reusable bag - if you don't have one you can purchase a neat one for just a few bucks or they do have paper bags if you need. There are only 2 things I don't like about this store: it isn't near my house and its a little on the spendy side for some things.
Carts are free & in a roofed area to the left right before the entrance and baskets are in the entry way that splits to the grocery store entrance on the left and liquor store entrance on the right.
It gets four stars for no fault of it's own. It's not close to where I live.

Small and well organized. Pleasant shopping experience. They have many unique items. Good place for gluten free, vegetarian and organically grown food.
CUSTOMER SERVICE: Every employee I've talked to here is incredibly helpful, love their jobs and can even show you their fave recommendations for the week along with a sample of nearly anything you'd like to try, just ask and sometimes (depending on product, size, price considerations) they'll open a package for you to sample! There is a juice/drink stand in the corner opposite of the entrance that has free samples of new drink concoctions & special deals on the ingredients.
