Well, today we finally received our fridge which was supposed to come between 8am and noon. To no surprise, they called to say they were running late at 11am... With no mention as to how late they would be. Then they called at 12:15 saying they would arrive in 15 minutes. They then arrived at 12:45. Trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, I asked if they had a big haul today for deliveries... The answer was, "No, it's not too bad today actually." Glad you have no regard for the time and effort it took me to arrange to be home for this delivery. The level of disrespect the Lowe's employees have for their customers, and the lack of customer service is truly shocking.
Lowe's is great I do all my shopping online pay for it go to the pickup counter get my stuff and out the door I go no searching the lines easy peasy
Next day...no refrigerator. Called Maple Grove to ask about delivery time. Put on hold 20 minutes. Finally talked to someone who said the fridge is not on the truck. He would find out why and call me back. No call. We called them back instead. Not only is it not next day delivery, AS THEIR WEBSITE STATES. It's not coming tomorrow, or the next day, or the next, or the next or even the next day after that. It's SEVEN days out. Really Lowes??? Wow...beyond frustrated. Would cancel it, but fear the credit back on our card would be over a week out as well. Lowes has lost this customer, that's for sure, but clearly they don't care now that they have my money.
I gave 1 star only because I couldn't post without at least one. We ordered carpet from Lowes in Maple Grove with the guarantee it would be installed by a certain date. They kept us updated on the status through the shipping process and when it arrived. We were told the installer would call us on Monday. No call. We had to keep calling them. Long story short, the carpet WILL NOT be installed by the date promised. We were told sorry, we only have one installer. Beyond furious and done with Lowes.
On the other hand the bearded gentleman who could not cut a board for me near closing time, was an impatient ass to say the least.
Ordered a refrigerator online. WEBSITE:NEXT DAY DELIVERY!! (Our old fridge is struggling.) Great!!!! It's in stock at Maple Grove!
The young man who helped me with flooring was fantastic. He knew all about the new vinyl and also a lot about installation. Very personable. He used to work in flooring and came over to help and then discussed gopher football for a minute. Give him a raise.
We bought a new fridge from Lowe's, and throughout the whole buying experience, we were very disappointed. The first day we walked through looking at the new models and the "out of box" models. Anytime we had a question, it was as if we were a bother to the on duty appliance specialist despite there being no other customers in the department. We left and took some time to shop around looking at Home Depot, Best Buy and Werner Stallion. After walking through those stores, we were told when the new and better sales were starting, so we held-off a week. Interesting they all shared this with us, except for Lowe's. Anyway, we went back to Lowe's and selected a fridge that we got a price match on from Home Depot since we had some Lowe's gift cards we could apply, little did we know the price match turned out to be an excruciating process. The on duty store manager couldn't have been more rude about the price match, nor could the online or texting reps have been more rude. Despite the price match guarantee being listed on their own website, they tried everything to get around honoring it... Scheduling the delivery was equally fun. For an in-stock fridge we had to wait a month for delivery.
