Excellent stuffed pizza. I love deep thick pizza (cheese is put directly on the crust then toppings and sauce on top of the cheese) and their stuffed pizza is excellent. I like a saucy pizza so I usually order it with extra sauce and they always don't skimp on it. There's a great deal on Groupon for this place and I've used it a couple times to get a great deal. I also like there warm pretzel sticks with Gouda cheese dipping sauce.
I work at a hotel in the area and my coworkers and I get their pizza and I absolutely love it! Best tasting pizza ever! Wish the prices weren't skyrocket high though. Any other pizza place you can usually get 2 large pizzas for maybe $25 give or take. My family and I ordered 2 Chicago style large pizzas and I think it was pop (this happened last year) for delivery and the total was $60! I was like for what. And the person on the phone said "for the food you ordered" when I was basically asking them to repeat the order just to make sure it was correct. Was not expecting to pay that much so had to cancel and go somewhere else. Sorry I'm not paying $60 for 2 pizzas.
Tasty pizza with really fresh ingredients. If you like thick pizza with lots of toppings, you can't really beat Frankie's. Plus they have really good deals on single slices + a drink. If you're getting a whole pie be prepared to spend a little bit of cash, and time waiting, even if you call ahead.
Frankies has been my favorite spot for pizza my entire life. Their sauce is the best! They have a lot of specials and coupons, and also have a 2 slices and a drink deal inside for $7.50, which is reasonably priced. They remodeled inside so more seating and dine in option available. No other pizza place in Maple Grove even compares to Frankies!
Pizza by the slice or you can order off the menu. The pizza is good and so are the prices. It's definitely worth a visit if you like Chicago style. That being said if you like other styles of pizza, you can get that too - not all of their pizza is Chicago style.
