Nice place to bring kids to learn about nature. They have a bunch of cool programs to learn from. Nice walking paths. Now that winter is here nice cross country ski trails. Also sliding hills and some small down hill skiing.

This is a great spot in the Northwest sideburbs to get outdoors and explore. The park has cross-country skiing, tubing, almost 9 miles of horse back riding trails, eleven miles of mountain bike single track trails, and an area for archery. There is ample parking at several park entrances. As the park is quite large, be sure to enter at the correct location for the activity you're planning to do.

Great dog park to bring the dogs to. Wooded trail to let them run off leash with more than adequate fencing to keep them in. Also has a small fenced in pond within the off leash area. Dogs enjoyed it.

Great park outside Maple Grove. Swimming, disc golf, bike trails and more in warm weather. Cross country skiing and snowboarding or tubing in snowy times. Warm Chalet between ski runs. Skis and boots available for rent.

One of the best parks for sure. Whether you want to have a quiet walk, bring family for the weekend, have a barbeque afternoon, enjoy the snow, see a little bit of wildlife (be patient, I saw deer, all the songbirds you can see, rabbits, rodents, cranes, ducks, geese, a raccoon..), do activities for all seasons, you should visit. Definitely visit if you want to get lost and explore. This place is gigantic. Even if you don't like parks all that much I still recommend.
