The worst pet hospital. I took my husky when he was less than a year old. First it was for a physical exam where he was treated horribly. They wanted to check his ears and by doing so they cornered him into the tight corner while the nurse tried to clench his snout shut for no reason and the vet tried to check his ears, these actions were incredibly unnecessary for a simple ear check. Another issue i went for was that my poor boy had tapeworms. I sent in a stool sample and they lost it and told me i never sent in anything so i sent in another one and they said he didnt have anything. I could clearly see white little worms squirming in his stool so obviously he had something. A month later he got neutered there and they told me he had pooped while there. Then they told me he had tape worms 3 MONTHS AFTER the first stool sample i sent. Then they refused to give him an injection for it and told me to order something online. Incredibly infuriating.
Totally agree with Karin Anne. The wellness plan only gives you very small discount on over inflated price. Fecal sample check was $30++ at our previous vet, Banfield charges us $80 on top of the wellness plan. We are locked for a year and will not continue this costly plan. Save your money and find a local vet.
The staff was so kind in our time of need on such a busy and stressful week.
I called Banfield at 7 am this morning and told them I had an emergency with my dog, they told me that they were booked solid, How ever if I could drop her off, they would be able to take care of her, So I did.
We have had the wellness plan for over 20 years.
I was frantic, Its Christmas week and it's busy every where, The Banfield team took great care of my dog and sent us home with the Antibiotics she needs to get better.
We are on the old timer plan and it covers alot of ground especially when your pet is up there in age and starts having health problems.
Great friendly staff who were very sweet & fun with my energetic lab. Pretty busy and had just got new software when I visited that looked great but they were learning the new kinks. Free first visit coupon made it worth trying a new vet after mine retired and am so far not disappointed. Will be coming back in the spring for vaccines
NEVER go to Banfield. I took my cat there, and Dr. Heuttl said he had a urinary tract infection and precribed meds which did no good. I brought him back and the second Banfield vet said he had a mass on his abdomen and had cancer. Why couldn't Dr. Heuttl-Head see that? He suffered his last month on incorrect meds because Dr. Heuttl-Head apparently cannot diagnose even something as obvious as cancer. NEVER go to Banfield. NEVER.
The antibiotics alone were $160.00, with the wellness plan We only paid $68.00 out of pocket, And with the plan there is NO OFFICE VISIT FEE!!!
Thank You Banfield.
I don't know what all these negative people are talking about.
It gives me peace of mind knowing that I don't have to fork out $200.00 Or more every time she goes in.
I am thankful they were able to see my dog on such short notice.
When my Husky mix passed away some year's ago, they sent me a beautiful card signed by the whole team.
They really do care and I would never go anywhere else.
With out the plan my Bill would have been almost $300.00 today.
