We stayed the weekend and it was wonderful!! The staff were excellent! We had great service in the mornings for breakfast and evening for dinner! Someone mentioned in another review about outside food not welcomed, which is untrue. You can bring/order your own food, you just have to keep it in your room, they don't want you eating/drinking outside food in the public areas of the hotel. Our room was very clean and comfortable! We asked for extra shampoos/towels and they were delivered to our room within 15mins. Overall a great experience and we will DEFINITELY be back!
Worth the money. Fantastic waterpark. Humongous pool only 3 inches deep for toddlers. Be aware, the waterslides only run Friday and Saturday. Great breakfast with friendly service (not free). Stunning lobby. Love the Tinkerbell statue. They don't have cots or playpens though. The room was big enough to set up a pallet on the floor in the corner for a child. Amazingly, I figured out how to operate the thermostat. There was a retractable clothesline in the bathroom, but they store the towels in the shower. Very close to the freeway, and easy to get to.
Great place. Great value. Even better location. Pool area made for a great winter escape, however it was a bit heavy on the chlorine. A lot of kids were coughing and rubbing their eyes in the pool, but that is probably a good thing for germ fighting.
My room had an issue with a leaking flapper in the toilet. It ran all night, drain, fill, drain fill, very noisy. At 2AM i called the front desk to report the issue so Maintenance could fix it the next day(needless to say sleep with that noise was out of the question). At 7AM i stopped by the front desk to remind them. At 7PM when i got back to my room the first thing i heard when i entered was the running toilet. I went back down to the front desk and had to ask.... a third time. They finally went up and fixed it, they left a little note saying that they apologize and should never have rented the room like that. they get 2 stars, because (1)i had to call three times, (2) for a room that should not have been rented (3) my company paid $150 for a room that i could not sleep in (4) they offered a written apology on a maintenance card
The hotel is very loud with many young children staying for the water park. Much of this water park is geared for younger children. My 11 year old had little interest and she loves pools and water parks. The hotel staff are nice and they offer many amenities you would expect from a hotel of this level. I would recommend it most to people with young kids who are focused on fun rather than a good night's sleep.
